It took a long time for us to get the samples. Unfortunately by the time I got the samples, it was too late for us to order a mantle from you guys. Our project needed to be closed. We had to get it done by a carpenter.

The samples came quickly. They were key in picking the right finish!

Thank you for offering samples. It’s the only way to look at the colors in your home. Wood floors, natural light and painted walls. All things considered… I am actually going with a different color than originally planned. Your sample allowed me to make the right choice.

The pine sample order includes multiple colors, nice size to get a real feel for the look, high quality. We were able to make a selection and hope for an awesome wall feature!! Can’t wait for our shelves to get here.

We ordered samples first and received a 10% discount for a future order. Although we thought the sample colors were great, we decided to use our own stain to better match the cabinets, etc. in our home. We thought Urbandi's prices were reasonable and we ordered the "Rustic Mantel: 60Lx8Hx8D / Unfinished". It looked just like the photo on the website. We decided to sand it a little (not necessary; just our preference) and then we stained it and it came out great! The small irregularities were just what we wanted! The main box is sturdy, but lite and the hanging mechanism was very easy to install. My husband installed it himself in about an hour. Thanks Urbandi - great product!

Although none of the finishes offered will work with the wood frame surrounding my fireplace, it helped me to make the decision to order an unfinished mantel to stain myself. The samples are of very nice quality.

Ordered the samples to see the wood & color. It was so nice to get a large size sample instead of a tiny piece. This really helped in my decision and will be ordering my mantel tomorrow. Can’t wait to see it on my fireplace. Speedy delivery too.

The samples were helpful but none of them were a good match to our base cabinets. We are looking to place a custom order for shelves with Urbandi but hope they will assist by staining them in a different minwax color that we match to our cabinets by looking at samples on pine at Home Depot.

The samples were great, but I wish they would’ve sent a sample of all the colors. I did pay for For the samples so it wasn’t like they sent anything for free. especially since I’m a contractor and I need a good supplier for mantels

Loved the shipment of large size stained wood samples! I had already picked a stain, but wished to verify before ordering the product. The samples verified my decision so I could be sure that my decision was correct. I also had installation questions and had very quick and friendly responses! I like that the samples providedwere exact colors and the same wood type of what is being sold. For $12 you get to see all four colors which was very helpful when trying to match the wood in the rest of our home.

Pretty much what I expected. Would have like to see a few more stain options . Smaller thin wood samples could save money to make and ship. If purchased should credit the cost of color samples.

Thought they were nice samples but none were what matched my dresser and not quite what I was looking for. I probably need a different wood.

The samples are small which I expected. But what makes it really hard is the colors of stain are a LOT lighter that the pictures products online. I haven’t ordered a mantel yet because of that.

The samples are well made and large enough to give me a good idea of how any one of them would look as the stain for a mantel. Unfortunately, none of the 4 colors go well with the colors of the fireplace an d other colors in the room.

Beautiful wood colors.

I will be installing a shelf to hold an antique clock in the very specific area that will house my table that I store a keyboard on. It was on a shelf previously that was designed to hold this special clock In a In a corner, and exceedingly sturdy. When I moved, of course, that shelf stayed. I’m having a very easy time considering between these samples as the table is a very pretty old antique Maple and this clock is 1800s. I was so pleased to receive these chunky pieces of sample versus small slivers because I can visualize with the depths of them how it’s going to look as this clock will be sitting directly on it. I need to wind the clock every day so I do need a good sturdy shelf of size underneath it . I am looking forward to ordering shelf in the next few days with extreme confidence. The reviews I read here and see of your products makes me very excited to be able to install a shelf. I know I will be very confident with.
