Appreciate having an inexpensive way to bring the colors into our space where I can consider them with our lighting and furniture to help me feel more confident for our larger purchase!

The samples are small which I expected. But what makes it really hard is the colors of stain are a LOT lighter that the pictures products online. I haven’t ordered a mantel yet because of that.

The samples were great and really helped find the color that best suited our space.

The samples are well made and large enough to give me a good idea of how any one of them would look as the stain for a mantel. Unfortunately, none of the 4 colors go well with the colors of the fireplace an d other colors in the room.

Beautiful wood colors.

I will be installing a shelf to hold an antique clock in the very specific area that will house my table that I store a keyboard on. It was on a shelf previously that was designed to hold this special clock In a In a corner, and exceedingly sturdy. When I moved, of course, that shelf stayed. I’m having a very easy time considering between these samples as the table is a very pretty old antique Maple and this clock is 1800s. I was so pleased to receive these chunky pieces of sample versus small slivers because I can visualize with the depths of them how it’s going to look as this clock will be sitting directly on it. I need to wind the clock every day so I do need a good sturdy shelf of size underneath it . I am looking forward to ordering shelf in the next few days with extreme confidence. The reviews I read here and see of your products makes me very excited to be able to install a shelf. I know I will be very confident with.

I was so pleased with the pine samples. They are substantial enough to get a feel for what the shelves will look like. We actually had picked one color stain originally and we decided on the Aged Oak once we received the samples. Glad we ordered them.

I ordered the rustic mantel wood samples so that we could compare the colors. So glad to see them in person as we made a change on a previous decision based on the photos alone. If you want the white oak sample, you have to order separately & hard to find on wrb site..there are multiple "buy sample" links & most take you to pine samples & only one link (somewhat hidden) for oak. What I got were nice samples, fast shipment, etc but not what I wanted. "The world continues to spin" & I actually went ahead & ordered a white oak mentel.

Color samples were delivered quickly and were big enough to clearly visualize what the mantle will look like! Will definitely be using Urbandi when we do our remodel!

The samples were nice. I thought the website was confusing and difficult to order them though. There is no direct link to get to samples, you can only get there from other mantel pages. Also, the samples are listed as pine samples and it is hard to figure out which mantels that applies to. The last thing is that I actually wanted to see the black color, but the samples don’t include black, so it ended up being a waste of money for the samples. I did end up buying a black mantel from you though, so hopefully it will be nice!

Quick and easy insulation for the floating shelves. Color was a little different than the picture, but still looked great.

We finished there 30 x 12 rustic shelves ourselves in early American Stain with 4 coats of varathane. No sanding was needed. Very nice! Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is on contractor said they were about 1/8 in off all different. He was putting them up between tiles, ended up numbering them. The bottom two are not screwed into anything on the sides, so not as sturdy as top ones. Also only 4 stars because unfinished should be quite a bit cheaper.

I was very excited to receive my sample box. Unfortunately the stain I wanted (Black) did not come in the box. What did come in the box looked great. The quality felt and looked amazing but none of the colors will work with the design I’m trying to achieve. It would have been great if the sample description tells the customer what samples will be shipped so that the customer is aware of what they are purchasing. I would have loved to purchase a custom piece but refuse to pay again for another sample, thank you.

Samples were fine. Would have been appreciated tbh at if I paid for samples and then ordered a product the company would have credited me that cost of the samples. Leave a little bad taste in your mouth when you order samples and have to pay for them just to order the product.

The only problem with the samples was that they took a long time to get here - about a week or a little over. By that time, I had already decided to purchase the floating shelves I was going to order from Urbandi from another company.

These samples were helpful but I’m annoyed that I even had to order and pay for them in the first place. The reason I did so is because the product I wanted to order has pictures of all of the colors the product comes in, but the pictures are not labeled so you can’t tell which picture corresponds to which color. I used the chat function to ask for clarity but tbh I didn’t trust the answers that I got. Why wouldn’t you just label the photos on your site so I can be sure? I guess it’s a ploy for me to order the samples? It worked.

I was having a hard time figuring out which finish to get for my mantle via the Urbandi website, and I noticed you can order wood samples for all finishes for just $12 with free shipping. I ordered them and received them very quickly. I was easily able to make a decision once I had the samples. To my surprise, Urbandi provided a 20% off coupon in the sample box, which I applied to the mantle I ordered. The mantle is on its way, and I can't wait to receive it. I am very impressed by the customer service provided so far by Urbandi!

The samples came fast and were approx 3" x 5", plenty big enough to get a good idea of the product. I am glad I got the samples because the colors on my monitor were different than the in person samples. I chose a different color than I originally thought I would want based on just the computer pics.

reference order#7773. Quality product, color good, packing good, easy to install, reasonable price. Only 1 fault there were some type of vertical tool markings on the front side on both ends of the mantle. The top and bottom boards would looked better on the front.

The wood mantel samples came fast so I was able to order the one I liked best. As soon as I receive the mantle I will post pictures.

I ordered the sample blocks and I'm glad I did. Colors on a screen can be deceiving. Seeing them in person certainly helped in the selection process.
