Urbandi ONE Ingredient. Real. Solid. Wood.
Each piece is handcrafted by skilled American craftspeople using carefully selected furniture-grade pine chosen for their durability, strength, and beautiful natural grain.
All of our Pine wood comes from The Pine State of Maine, known for the highest quality White Pine in the United States..
Eastern white pine from Maine is famous for its high quality because the state's cool climate and rich, well-drained soils allow the trees to grow straight, tall, and with tight, uniform growth rings. Maine pine is prized for its:
Straight Grain: Maine’s dense forest stands force trees to grow upward quickly for sunlight, resulting in straight, clear timber with very few knots.
Sustainably Managed: Generations of localized forestry practices in Maine have optimized the sustainable growth and harvesting.
Urbandi USA. Locally Handcrafted.
Every shelf is handcrafted in the USA using locally sourced natural, organic material - solid wood. By sourcing our materials locally and manufacturing domestically, we ensure superior quality, support American craftsmanship, and reduce unnecessary transportation costs and impacts.
Each shelf will differ because each piece of solid wood is unique. With a substantial 1.75-inch thickness and solid wood construction, these shelves offer a premium look and feel that complements both modern and rustic interiors.
Crafted of the highest Select-Grade pine from the Pine State of Maine, we minimize wood imperfections to provide a clean, natural look.Natural grain and knots are intentionally preserved to highlight the authentic character of real wood, ensuring that every shelf is truly one of a kind.
Through our online ordering system, you can choose customizable lengths, depths and finishes to meeting your design needs. Our Build-To-Order process ensures your personalized, solid wood shelf fits your unique space.

Stud installation is strongly recommended! Use a stud finder to locate studs, and lightly mark their location with a pencil.
Step 2:
Once you determine where to hang your shelf, using a level, line up the mounting bracket on the wall. Use a pencil to mark the bracket's screw holes on the wall studs.
Step 3:
Using provided screws, lightly screw the mounting bracket into the wall (do not screw in completely). Using a level, check to make sure the mounting bracket is level, and fully screw the bracket into the wall.
Step 4:
Line up the holes on the back of the shelf with the bracket extensions, and slide the shelf over them.

“I was really impressed by the size and quality of this table. It feels solid, beautifully made, and knowing it’s handcrafted in America makes it even more special.”
Every Urbandi product is made in Cincinnati, Ohio by our team of skilled craftspeople.
Are Urbandi products hand made?
Yes. Every Urbandi piece is made through a hands-on build-to-order process. We use modern tools for precision, but the majority of the work is guided by skilled craftspeople who select, cut, assemble, sand, finish, pack, and inspect each piece with care.
Are Urbandi products made from real wood?
Yes. Urbandi products are made from real solid wood, not MDF, particle board, or cheap veneer. Some pieces, such as certain fireplace mantels, use a hollow solid-wood construction to make installation easier and pricing more accessible while still maintaining real wood quality.
Can Urbandi products be used outside?
Most Urbandi products are designed for indoor use, where temperature and humidity are controlled. Outdoor pieces may be available as custom orders using materials and finishes suited for exterior conditions. Contact our team to discuss your project.
How much weight can Urbandi shelves hold?
Weight capacity depends on shelf size, depth, bracket type, and installation method. On average, floating shelves installed into wall studs with the included brackets can hold 25–55 pounds per stud. Longer or deeper shelves may need additional support brackets.
How do I care for real wood?
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe spills right away with a slightly damp cloth, then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh cleaners, abrasive pads, and silicone-based products. Keep real wood away from extreme heat, direct sunlight, and excessive humidity.
How do you choose your raw material suppliers?
We choose suppliers based on material quality, consistency, responsibility, and proximity. For hardwoods, we work with mills in Central Appalachia and trusted regional partners who provide strong, beautiful wood suited for long-lasting furniture and shelving.
Really appreciated the ease of chatting with customer service to delay the shipping of our new shelf so it wouldn't arrive while we were on vacation! Unfortunately, the shelf arrived with a scratch on one end of it, but by the time we discovered it we were already ready to install it. We have aimed that side away from most eye view, but it was a bummer! Otherwise a beautiful, quality shelf.
Temu quality. Brackets are inconsistently sized and the holes are drilled inconsistently along the brackets so everything comes out looking wonky. Nothing special about the wood—one could replicate with lumber and stain in about 20 minutes per coat. Finally the order was weeks late to top it off.
We added these shelves to my daughter's small kitchen and love the way it all turned out. It was exactly the look she was pursuing. The shelves are high quality and will last forever.
Invited a handyman service to install my selected Urbandi shelves and brackets. The two shelves will give me the flexibility to change out my displayed favorites frequently. The shelves arrived in perfect condition and the quality speaks for itself. I am very pleased with my order. Many thanks.

This is our second time ordering and we just love our shelves! They are beautiful, show off our memories in such a way that we are so happy we purchased the second one. The first was a pair of smaller ones, this time was one longer one. You will love the craftmanship!!
Color didn't match from previous order as stains have changed. Had to send back and will be ordering again because I did love the first batch of shelves so much! Customer service was great and the return process was smooth. I will reorder!
Really beautiful shelves with sturdy brackets. These are lovely in my new laundry room remodel project. I would definitely purchase products from Urbandi again.
Still in construction mode so the brackets are currently in the studs - we’ll be doing some structural work to center them but for now the cabinet installers put them up temporarily. The color is perfect and the quality of these shelves is unmatched! They’re very sturdy and I love that you can see the wood grain in them. They definitely add a nice organic touch. Can’t wait to make them a functional part of my kitchen. Thank you!!
Pretty much the only site that had exactly what I was looking for (real wood, 24" w x 12" d, in a set of 2 or 3). It took a while to get them delivered but they were packaged well. There was a bit of off-gassing from the varnish but it dissipated after a day or two. The rustic/vintage finish matches honey oak cabinets well. I went with the J brackets since I wasn't sure the floating style would line up with the stud. I added a couple extra L brackets on the ends for extra stability, since the brackets ended up being so far in the middle (due to stud placement). I'm super happy with how they look and I would definitely recommend / buy again!
Overall they're great. Very nice shelves. They were surprisingly light for their size and thickness so I'm wondering if they're hollow. That's not a negative thing, just an observation, because they look well made. Much much better than the look-a-like wood options found on the popular online shopping sites. My only issue is that they don't look like the color on the website. I got aged barrel and it arrived looking more grayish, than the brown color I was expecting. Could be more of an issue with the colors of my computer monitor, etc. Still looks nice and isn't a deal breaker. I had an empty wall above my desk and needed something to liven it up some and these did great. I'll definitely buy again.
Stunning shelves- we bought a mantel and shelves for the room a few years ago and bought more recently. We just love the quality and look! Definitely recommend!
The shelves are high quality, both materials and craftsmanship.
My order was filled in a very timely manner. Julia is a wonderful person to do business with.
10/10 Experience! Rustic Shelf was exactly as described and pictured. Very sturdy and solid wood with heavy brackets. Installation took about 10 minutes total with anchors and screws also included.
I love my Rustic Shelves with Brackets. The shelves are nice and I was impressed with the heavy duty L brackets. I really couldn't be happier. I'll be ordering more!
I had been looking locally for floating shelves and couldn’t find what I wanted. I came across these online and everything from ordering to shipping was quick and easy! I love how they turned out.
The shelves are beautifully made, the brackets are functional and stylish. They are perfect fit either side of the gas fire in our living room.
I can’t recommend URBANDI enough. A very professional company with excellent customer service.
I am extremely pleased with my shelf! My laundry room had a white wire shelf and we wanted a shelf that would fit in with 18th & 19th century antiques and be a little different than the norm. Your shelf is perfect as, we love the thicker board and simple brackets. We appreciate anything done well and your shelf is definitely that! Customer service is also excellent! Thank you!
