We first ordered a 'walnut floating shelf' and although it was a beautiful shelf, it was too 'red' for the walnut floor in the area we were decorating. We then ordered this 'rustic floating shelf' in the 'jacobean' color and it is absolutely amazing. The color is perfect and it was easy to install. Looks fantastic. Shipping was fast, and the company has great communication throughout the entire process (even on our return - everything was handled professionally, fast, and effortlessly). Love it!

Great quality shelves. I gave them a 4 out of 5 rating because I was dissapointed with the lack of hardware supplied to install. The shelves are heavy and you will need more than 2 drywall anchors if you cannot screw to studs.
I would have given them a 5 rating if they included more than 2 anchors to install the shelves.

the shelf only brought 4 nails. they ripped right out of the wall because the shelf was too heavy. i had to get my own nails to secure the frame into the wall. would’ve been nice to receive a full set of nails.

Not happy and will be returning product. Ordered unfinished shelving (3 of the 24” size). The pine wood is construction grade lumber full of knots, several of which are on the edges. The knots were bad enough that they would not cover well with a light paint color or would bleed through paint. Also likely to affect geometry of shelves over time. The standard for this lumber should be made clear on the web site.

Piece was packed well and arrived in perfect condition, installation was super easy for one person (even with the 66" shelf) and it looks fantastic on the wall. The bracket / hanging hardware was great in its flexibility for where you can screw it into the wall, so mine was able to be anchored entirely in existing wall studs.

Yopur site advertised itself as a reclaimed wood source. If you reclaimed it, it likely was from a couch or shipping skids. was not nice harder wood. Otherwise you charge a 15% restocking price, you must be nuts, no one will ever use your service a second time. Good luck in your grade school woodshop class business. Disappointing.

I ordered two rustic pine shelves with the Provincial stain. They are 30” x 10” and match the cabinet top perfectly even though it is acacia. I ordered the samples with stain and it made the process much easier when I was able to see the large pieces of stained pine in person. The handyman who installed the shelves said they were the best quality shelves and the hanging hardware was also much sturdier than any others he had installed. I love the shelves and would not hesitate to order them again! I had several questions about hanging and hardware before ordering and had prompt, courteous responses very quickly. Great company and products!

Shelves were nicely cut and stained. The brackets left much to be desired. They weren’t level (welding may have been off) and the drywall anchors provided didn’t fit the grooves cut in the bracket. There was a lot of improvising with new hardware and shims. A few trips to local hardware for solutions. With this knowledge I wouldn’t purchase again.

My shelves arrived when promised. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the brackets fit perfectly. I tested each shelve with a 45-pound weight and they were rock solid. Plenty of mounting holes means you can always hit the stud.

I bought four 36 inch shelves and four 20 inch shelves. I installed them all myself. I removed one star because on several of the shelves there were clear manufacturing blemishes (which I was not interested in returning). I removed a second star because the mounting bracket that comes with each shelf was a different model for a few of the shelves of the same size. I guess they changed the design. One, having a single row of screw holes through the center of the mount… and another having two rows of screw holes (one row on top and one row on bottom). I would sort of understand if there had been a change in design, to send all mount brackets of any particular order of equal design. But just strange to send different mounts of equal size in the same order. Also, after mounting the brackets, the shelf sloped downward toward the front (when replacing in exactly the way that it was removed before application). I found that flipping the shelf over in the other direction helped with that. All in all generally pretty happy. But not perfect.

A little disappointed with the shelf. I noticed that the edges of the shelf are rough. They didn't take the time to sand it down and get it smooth. Also, after installing I noticed that the top looks like there's a slight bow in it.

The included anchors were pretty awful. Luckily I ended up not needing them. But if I would have needed them I would have bought my own. A little more instruction (like the screws were self tapping) would be nice.

I was a bit disappointed in this shipment versus the first two I purchased. The second set of shelves had totally different brackets. The 8” shelf bracket had only single holes - but was thick like the first ones. The 12” shelf had the holes top & bottom, but not as many (spaced further apart). Plus, neither bracket were nearly as wide, only being about 1 1/2” wider than the rods. And, thinner material. When we hung the 12” shelf, it was slanting down, so we put some shims under the bottom and added two more screws with toggle bolts through the drywall. That seemed to do the trick. If the bracket was as wide as the first set, I could have made it into a third stud.

Was super excited, but I think due to the size we order (36”Lx10”W) or the somewhat poor looking weld and grinder job on the brackets, these do not have the rigidity I hoped. The won’t stay level.
We can’t use them for the application we hoped, however the wood is beautiful, and with different hardware and brackets from a different manufacturer, I hope to use them elsewhere.
The provided hardware (particularly the drywall fasteners) are pretty bad - upgrade these if you hope for them to be sturdy!!
Overall, I’m bummed. The order was delayed days, for a product I can’t use as advertised…

Although I like the concept of your company I am extremely disappointed with the shelf I received from you. It has a lot of knots on one side and the other side has a split running down the middle of it so you can't even face the "bad side" down. Both sides are poor quality. I would never recommend Urbandi.

From the first phone call to the delivery of the shelves, the Urbandi team answered all of my questions, sent email status of my order as it was processed, and provided excellent customer service. The shelves were a custom length and I was pleasantly surprised that there was no additional charge, only a little bit longer interval. Having said that, the team delivered my shelves earlier than anticipated....and they're stunning. The contractor who installed them was very impressed with their appearance and particularly how sturdy they are. I echo those sentiments 100%. I couldn't be happier all the way around and highly recommend Urbandi! The shelves in the pic are Aged Oak of the Rustic Floating Shelves product line. 12" deep x almost 53" long.
