I really like this mantel. The size looks like a real wood barn beam without all the weight. My only critique would be that the edge (see pic) should be mitered for a more aesthetic look on the outside view.
I did have to expedite delivery due to there turn around time taking longer than usual. So 4 stars for those 2 reasons. Still a beautiful mantel and worth the money.

The mantel arrived a bit dented in one corner. The overall item feels a bit amateurish in its construction, not a finished product in some ways. The piece of wood meant to be hung on the wall as the hanger was loosely screwed into the back of the mantel and had split the wooden structure inside in two places. In addition, the shipping took a long time. Not great overall, in my opinion.

Absolutely LOVE this mantel!! I spent a significant amount of time researching a wood mantel to purchase (vs making one), including reading hundreds of customer reviews on their product and the company.
We remodeled our entire fireplace removing the old white molding, casing, and mantel to update the space. We ordered our mantel (in provincial 6x6x60) and it was the exact rustic look and color we were searching for that matched the rest of our modern “farmhouse chic” decor.
It is actually nicer looking in person than in pictures. It was packed safely and shipped timely.
We are adding a pantry barn door in the same wood so we reached out to ask the brand and color and other details so our door would be an exact match to the mantel. To our surprise they were kind enough to provide us ALL of the details and answer all of questions we had- with pleasure. This goes above and beyond!
The picture has yet to have our TV attached so it will look even better.
I would HIGHLY recommend URBANI without any reservations! We are beyond pleased.

The installation wasn’t as easy as portrayed, would recommend having holes pre-drilled into the wood so that there’s no miss in how they match up. The mantle isn’t flush with the wall and slightly tilting forward. The provincial pulls through a much more red undertone than captured online.

Love our new Urbandi mantel!! The quality is excellent and our contractor said it was an easy install. It coordinates perfectly with the new stacked stone surround and brings a beautiful Pacific Northwest warmth to the entire room. Our old propane fireplace had been dying for years. This was a long update/renovation project, but it has definitely been worth it. Exactly as descibed, received quickly. The attachment to wall was my only concern. IMO it needs angled holes at each end of mantle to attach to wall. When it is hung on the wood attachment piece it can be loose. I took a Kreg jig and bore 2 holes , one on each end, to screw mantle at ends to hold into wall. Then use dowels to hide holes and cut off and stained to match color.

We have an old Spanish-style house and the white painted mantel that came with the house seemed out of place. After many years, we finally ordered a 66" rustic mantel from Urban. It came quickly, was packaged well, and was easy to install. It is hollow in the middle, but sturdy. It looks great and was very reasonable priced. Not sure why we waited so long!
