The shelves have mitered corners and are well crafted. The provincial stain is a rich golden brown color. The wall mount is made of wood, but I thought it would have been a metal mount for more strength.

Overall pleased with shelves! Pros: Easy to hang, arrived well packaged, color exactly as expected (I did order samples before purchasing). Cons (minor): shipping took longer than expected, a few minor scratches on both shelves (I used teak oil to camouflage), missing 1 screw, no pre drilled holes to attach to mounting bracket as stated in the instructions. Conclusion: Yes, I would order again.

The cause for 2 stars is the price vs quality of material/carpentry. If this were oak/maple/hickory or some price worthy species, then the value would be there. This is #2 white pine with stain slapped on it, with lots of raised grain that becomes a DIY project once you get it, because Urbandi doesn’t do finish work, and after finding reviews on Amazon, it seems to be a common theme with Urbandi’s finish work. I “chatted” with them about the raised grain, and was told to use a soft cloth to “remove” it,,, nope,, you have to either fine grit or steel wool your way out of these canyons(raised grains) or you’ll never be able to dust/clean with any cloth. No compensation offered, needless to say. Bottom line, I thought I was purchasing something that I couldn’t do myself out of my garage,,, 386$ later,,,, I found otherwise, didnt do my research. Spacers, butt joint front, very crude hanging bracket(one screw wonder in pics), mitered joints on the ends, basic.

I love the shelves -- but I am NOT pleased with the brackets. These should be metal brackets, not wood. They are not strong enough to hold much. I needed to buy new metal brackets for $300 to replace. Disappointed in the wood brackets...but I love the shelves.

While the wait for my order was longer than expected, I must say that the look and quality of these shelves are absolutely outstanding. When ordering something like this from a distance, it’s always a concern that it might arrive damaged. So, I was pleasantly surprised to find that, despite a hole in the box, the shelves were perfectly intact inside. I also ordered the matching mantle, which I’ve showcased in this video, and it too is of exceptional quality. My advice? Exercise a bit of patience—good things really do come in large packages!

Shelves bounce around because the brace is made of cheap wood. Cannot hold anything heavy. Cheaply made material that you can see is nailed together. Not worth the money!

The shelves are well made and the oak finish blends in nicely with the wood trim and mantle on the fireplace. Installation took some forethought on where to position the wooden brackets as respects the wall studs. I had to trim off about 2 inches on each bracket due to the placements of the studs. One shelf went in smoothly while the other did not, as the width of the space was just a tad under 54 inches. I wish the instructions would have provided some tips for such a scenario. I had to really pound in the shelf which caused some minor drywall damage to the walls. Overall, I'd recommend Urbandi products and if the need arose, would purchase from Urbandi again.

I have purchased two pairs of these shelves—one in Aged Barrel and the other in Jacobean. They are both perfect! Such incredible quality, and so easy to install. The coloring was much more yellow than was shown on the website when placing my order. Also, the overall coloring of each shelf varies significantly. Lastly, they are not the same length. I ordered the Modern 3# floating shelves and they are rustic, not modern.

The last piece/shelf arrived and was installed today. The photos show all of the Urbandi shelves and mantle that we purchased. Finally, our 22ft. vaulted wall is finally complete. We are extremely pleased with the quality and look of these shelves.
The pictures don’t do them justice, as they make the whole room feel grand and elegant! Our great room will be complete once our new furniture and window treatments are delivered. Absolutely love the shelving! We will be purchasing a few more for the basement living space.

The shelf was beautiful. The problems is with the communication by staff.
Every time I asked what the status of my order was they kept saying it will ship from 10 to 17 days. It didn't ship until the 17th day. It took over 3 weeks from when I placed the order when I finally received it even though I kept getting emails initially indicating my order was in production then 3 days later if was sent to finishing. After that the statuses stopped coming.

Our 1950's home needed many updates. We graywashed the fireplace and needed some warmth. The fireplace beam did the job! We loved it so much that we bought another for the kitchen. (And will be purchasing more for batheoom soon!) My husband drilled holes and put lights in the ktchen beam which is gorgeous! Not only were the beams perfect, but customer service as well! One beam had to be returned/exchanged. Not a problem, and we're super happy with the entire experience.

Great looking shelf. The bracket is made from cheap, soft wood so im not sure how well the shelf will hold up as it doesn’t feel super sturdy. The brackets on one were misaligned (bad build quality) leading to a crooked install so i built my own (much sturdier). Shelves look great, I’d source brackets from elsewhere

Worth the wait! I had been checking these shelves out for a while as the final finishing touch to our newly remodeled media lounge. I was looking for a new look for a small bathroom I remodeled and wanted a very open look to expand the space. After consolidating way too many cosmetics, I knew I was ready for floating shelves, and knew I could hide the small, loose items in baskets.
I found these shelves in a simple search and attracted to the real wood, the thickness, and the stain.
I am really happy with how they turned out and how they look installed. Only slight complaint is they could have used a final fine sanding before shipping, but they are 'rustic', after all.
