This is the third set of shelves that I've ordered from them and the quality is outstanding! Their customer service is prompt and very professional in answering my (many) questions! I've installed other floating shelves in the past, but the hanging system and brackets Urbandi supplies are the best, very user friendly to hang.

ordered shelves on 11/20 and now its 12/2 and apparently they just never shipped out my shelves now they have to re make them by 12/6 and they wont be delivered for 3-7 business days after that. How do you promise a delivery and then do nothing to accommodate the customer? Idk maybe say you'll express ship out a set? I wanted to have a 5/5 experience but now i'm left to figure out another plan as the portal told me I'd have my shelves by now when I placed the order.

All aspects of the purchase of our Urbandi white oak shelves were positive. We received updates on their status, and they shipped in boxes that adequately protected them. The quality of the shelves is unmatched! Installation was easy and they look great! We previously purchased floating shelves from another company that cost twice as much as Urbandi and these were just as good of a product. We will order more for our bar pantry.

The shelf is nice and getting it unfinished was helpful so we could match the finish with other wood elements in the same room. Our only issue was the holes that were drilled to receive the floating shelf bracket were not straight and left a gap on one side of the shelf. We tried flipping it to make sure it wasn’t the wall but then the gap was on the other side which was more apparent from the entrance to the room.

The shelves are very nice and high quality; however, very misleading as they are way too heavy to hang with the anchors provided. At this price point, the hardware provided to hang these shelves is completely inadequate. Do not even bother ordering prior to finding studs where hanging.

The shelf came out beautiful, its sturdy and well made! I appreciate the update on each progress made. It came with a bracket and screws. However, it took longer than expected to installed because the screws provided kept jamming with the hand gun. Overall, great shopping experience.

Urbandi was wonderful to work with and very helpful in working with me to get the right size and color. The shelves are very sturdy and well made. My builder was extremely impressed with the quality of the workmanship and especially with the brackets. It was very helpful to get the brackets ahead of time, so that my builder could have the quartz cut to fit the brackets.

We loved the look of these floating shelves, but unfortunately, they were much heavier than anticipated. Additionally, the holes in the bracket were were not closed circles, which was not a bracket style we were familiar with. Ultimately, we had to return the shelves as we did not feel comfortable hanging these above our couch where people would be sitting. We were disappointed the weight wasn't listed on the website, which would have helped us make a more informed decision. The return process was quick and easy, though.

My bad- I inadvertently ordered the wrong size. (12x12). I know the studs are 13 inches apart so I won’t be able to properly mount this as it is too heavy for the wall.
That said, it is a beautifully finished piece of wood. Very solid, the hardware pieces all seem to fit and the instructions are clear. Just too heavy for the spot I want it in without having the support of the studs.

We went with two 10x24 unfinished and they are solid, heavy-duty, beautiful wooden shelves. They were easy to install with their brackets that make it easy to mount into a stud or two with many channel/slots throughout the length of the bracket. They come with anchors where you cannot get into a stud but I do recommend getting into at least one with the weight of these shelves.

The only suggestion would be to be ready with some very thin shims. I used fine washers behind the bracket and screw which was enough to counter walls in our older home that were not perfectly vertical.

Easy to order from quite a few sizes. These shelves are solid wood and rather heavy! You can pass them on to your children! They are beautiful!

The concept looks great but their engineering sucks.
Beautiful shelves but so heavy that the poorly designed brackets barely support the weight of the shelves.
The 16” shelf bracket is only 10” so it doesn’t span even one stud in most applications. The larger shelves have a similar issue.
Five heavy duty drywall molly bolts in one 16” shelf don’t even make it solid.
They refunded 15% of the price of the 16” shelves but that doesn’t help them stay on the wall.
I may end up buying brackets instead.

This is a beautiful shelf. It's solid wood so it's incredibly heavy. The hardware sent with the shelf was not suffice to bolt it to the wall. You need to know if it's drywall or metal that you're drilling into as it will require very different hardware. Luckily we had someone who knew how to install it properly. Happy with the final result but it was quite a task in having it installed.

I ordered 2 custom length shelves in black. I could not be happier. There was a miscommunication on the timing of my order and Customer Service and Production stepped up and got it done!! These shelves are beautiful solid wood. I love the black for my space as all my fixtures are black but I do hate the idea of painting such beautiful wood. We are very pleased with our white oak shelves! They are very sturdy and I can’t wait to stain them and hang them up.
Shipping did take a while but customer service was very prompt in addressing any questions. I would suggest ordering well before needing the items so as not to hold up your project. All that said, we would definitely order from Urbandi again. The care and craftsmanship put into their product shows and the price beats other competitors on the market.

We ordered six 30” by 10” white oak shelves to accompany our new basement and TV. These are beautifully crafted solid pieces of wood that are easy to hang. The fact that there are screw holes all along the bracket ensures you will be able to attach to at least one stud. Have received plenty of compliments.

The quality of the White Oak shelves, wood, and finish are top notch. I couldn't wait to have them up. I installed the shelves in two niches in my Sewing Room. The brackets were screwed into studs but they did not hold the weight of the shelves and slanted downwards, so I had to add cleats to give additional support. I also used heavier duty vs dryway screws that came with the shipment. Very unfortunate as I really wanted the floating shelf look.
