Packaging needs to be better , was delivered with a significant dent on the face of the mantle. I emailed over photos. The company gave me three options. I accepted a 20% credit and I will repair the damage product. hopefully, it’ll come out looking the same, and I can find the proper color stain !

I received my order the other day and I was away for work. The order came without incident. However I just installed my mantel and I am a little disappointed. I was expecting something a little more distressed like the website shows. I understand each mantle is made to order but the one I received is a little lackluster. I do like the mantle but again just disappointed it wasn’t close to what the website had shown.

You get what you pay for. I ordered a distressed mantel and it came with a huge red line across the front. Also the “distressed” part is them chiseling out a few chunks of wood from 2x4 pieces of wood. Save the money and build it yourself. (It cost you about half the money you pay to return it)

The quality was terrible. It is rough. I have to sand it and re-varnish it. It took longer than originally communicated and it is not at all the quality the it should be.

The mantel is beautiful. My only complaint would be on the time it took to be delivered. Give yourself at least 4-5 weeks when ordering. Beautiful piece though.

I was so excited for this mantel, so when the shipping date came and went the first time I was a little bummed, then it came and went again and they gave me a 10% refund, which was nice. When the mantel arrived it had a huge chunk of it that had broken off. Luckily, my Dad is very good at wood working and was able to glue it, but I was very disappointed when it arrived that way. Now that it’s up, it’s pretty.

To be honest, this is not at all what we were expecting even after reading through the description and all the positive reviews. We are very disappointed. It feels cheap (for the price) like we could have made it ourselves. And the way it's "distressed" is also not what we were expecting. We chose to keep it and wrap it in different wood since we were going to be charged 15% to send it back.
