These shelves are absolutely beautiful. Sanded and finished beautifully. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was because the side of one of my shelves was cracked almost clear through, about three-four inch crack along the end. Thankfully the shelves are hung high and I was able to face that edge towards the ceiling and no one will see the crack. The shelves were packaged so carefully and the packaging was not damaged so I have to assume it happened pre-packaging and missed quality controls notice. We also ordered a mantle shelf that hasn’t shipped yet, but I can’t wait to see how it turns out! Would buy here again.

It's a really nice shelf but mount could be better. It's not level with the shelf so I had to do some math to install it in order for the final product to be level. Also there is a slight gap between the shelf and the wall, but that could also be due to custom screws I used (cement backer board, can't use supplied drywall screws)

Wood shelves are great quality, floating hardware not so much. Quality is hit or miss. i ordered 3 shelves. The longest of the 3 (48" x 8") had a great bracket- predrilled holes are 90% inside the metal stock and catches the wood screws and holds them in. The other 2 shelves (24" x 12") had pre-drilled holes only 50% inside the metal stock. these are not as secure as the wood screws make half the contact to the bracket. not as secure.

Love our two walnut floating shelves! Perfect look for our dining room and really looks and feels of quality. Also very impressed with Urbanos customer support. When one of our two shelves showed up with a slight imperfection, I sent an email asking what could be done. They got back to me almost immediately and offered great options for getting a new one shipped out along with a return label. I bought 2 shelves. I love the color and quality of the shelves, but the brackets were terrible. They were not aligned, so it gave a hard time measuring it, installing and making sure it’s leveled. In fact, it messed up my wall a bit because I had to make new holes, because the metal bracket was uneven to the shelf. To be fair, the issue was only on one of them. The other one was not aligned either, but I can live with it.

The reason this does not get a five star is because the included bracket is exactly sixteen inches. With sixteen inch on center studs this leaves 1/2 of a stud (which equates to two screws essentially) to affix the bracket on each end. Add 1/2 inch to each side of the bracket and then you don't have to use the included drywall anchors at all and we feel this would be more secure for the shelves in principal.

I wanted a floating shelf to display my antique balance scale. I needed a shelf that could support the weight and be big enough and portional to the scale. I got a 12”x20” in the walnut. The shelf looks great and is well built( and heavy). Being only 20” wide I was able to use 2 studs at the ends of both brackets. Placed 2 screws at on each end and a coulpe of metal dry wall anchors on the top between the 2 ends. I had to shim the bottom of the bracket as the weight of the shelf and scale make the front sag a bit. I shimmed it so it sloped towards the wall a bit and under load it was perfectly level.

Love them! We did two 24 inch long by 10 inch depth shelves and two of the 12 inch by 10 inch shelves. My contractor did caulk them on bottom and top with clear silicone, they were a little wobbly with just the hanging hardware Urbandi provided. But the clear silicone fixed the issue. Totally fine to hold weight, just a little loose with just the hanging hardware.

Perfect sizing I needed to fill in and utilize the wall space! The shelves complement the overall look. Only negative is the wall anchor is not strong and broke even when pre-drilling.. I suggest to get a stronger wall anchor if you cannot locate the studs.

Shelf and the Urbandi support are good. But in our case the wall bracket was to long and had to have it cut to size. This is poor quality control.
